RESIN & PAPER
" Over the years I produced works with books and reproduction plates from various artists. Manipulating these books and different type of paper lead me to understand its reactive nature and quality to cutting, rolling and stretching, gluing, varnishing and making it ready to receive the resin...a learning experience.
The drawing is cut out in the reproduction plate and then cut in a thick paper board, these two are glued together and mounted on a wood panel. the cut out piece from the original plate is then glued directly to the wood panel aND sealed with varnish. The overlaying drawing is filled with pigmented resin creating a transluscent layer. "
